Air

Clean Air Methow (formally the Methow Valley Clean Air Project) is a project of MVCC that seeks to create solutions for a sustainably clean airshed and “breathing room” for everybody. Clean Air Methow started in the winter of 2015 to address poor air quality during the home-heating season when wood smoke and weather inversions trap bad air close to the valley floor. Since then Clean Air Methow’s scope has expanded in response to further concerns about smoke from wildfires, prescribed burning, and residential and agricultural burning. Click Here to Visit the Clean Air Methow Homepage and Learn More
