| The Methow Valley Ranger District informed stakeholders last week it invites comments on their proposal to amend specific standards and guidelines in the Okanogan Land and Resource Management Plan.
Included are proposed amendments to standards and guidelines (S&G) related to management activities in the Forest Plan Old Growth (FPOG), identified old growth stands. Additionally, the District recommends amending all deer cover-related S&G to allow for managing vegetation cover levels used by deer.
