Resources to Support Communities Impacted by the Wildfires in NCW

This week has been marked by tremendous pain and suffering not only in Washington, but across the US. Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the climate-fueled fires ravaging our country.

There are a lot of ways that you can support communities being impacted by the wildfires right now and we have put together a list of some of the ways you can give back and stay informed. This is not a complete list and we welcome any additional suggestions of how our community can give back during this time.

Methow Valley Interpretive Center Fundraiser
Donate to the Methow Valley Interpretive Center via paypal, or send a check to our address (PO Box 771, Twisp, WA 98856) and please write a note that it is for Fire Relief. If a note can’t be added please email us and let us know so that we can track these donations. Remember that 100% of these donations will go directly to families in need. We will purchase things that are needed, buy purchase cards, etc for those families that we know are in need. We will continue to work with our Tribal friends to identify what is needed and who needs it. www.methowvalleyinterpretivecenter.com
River Warriors Society GoFundMe
Donate directly to the following a GoFundMe campaign being run by the River Warriors Society: Cold Springs Canyon & Pearl River Fires Funds. These folks are getting on-the-ground needs met right away with these funds and have a distribution network of volunteers that reaches far and wide. https://www.gofundme.com/f/cold-springs-canyon-amp-pearl-hills-fires-fund?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf%20share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR1_5K_MgpPGTfq7oyiIldMrSAsAG3mj4utAIVVFQdkamxXckfWQYE9m1qQ
