Over 2018 and 2019, the Methow Valley Clean Air Project installed 22 low-cost air quality sensors manufactured by “Purple Air” throughout the Methow River watershed from Lost River to Pateros. These sensors deliver real-time information about particulate matter pollution in our community.
This year, we received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant to promote the visibility and accessibility of this project towards improving air quality and health in the Methow Valley, and your participation and input in this survey will help us achieve these goals. |
