Free Green Yard Waste Disposal at the Twisp Transfer Station
4/16, 4/18, 4/23 & 4/25. 10am-3pm (for all Methow Valley Residents)
This Free Green Yard Waste Disposal event provides Methow Valley residents with an alternative to backyard burning of their yard debris this spring. Residents can come to the Twisp Transfer Station to dispose of their yard waste for this special collection 10am-3pm on 4/16, 4/18, 4/23 & 4/25.
The Town of Twisp will be doing another round of their curbside chipping service! If you live within city limits, have piles out by Sunday night, April 13th.

FreeThe Town of Twisp will be doing another round of their curbside chipping service! Please have piles out by Sunday night, April 13th if you live within city limits. Please limit piles to 5x10x5, and place them perpendicular to the street. Multiple piles are allowed! No alley pickups. Piles will be chipped on April 14 and 15.
Allowed:
Branches and woody debris only no shorter than 2’ long and no larger than 6” in diameter!
Not allowed:
- All other green yard waste and garbage
- No weeds, sod, roots, pine needles, leaves, waste paper, garbage, plastic, metal, lumber or treated wood
- Piles not meeting guidelines will not be chipped
- Chips will be available for free after 2pm on Wednesday, April 16.
