Ordinance 2020-5 renewed a previously adopted interim amendment to the Official Okanogan County Zone Map. The amendment as adopted changed the zone designation on land in the Lower Methow River Reach of WRIA 48 from Rural-1 to Rural-5. The change in zoning extends from approximately Alta Lake to Gold Creek Road.

MVCC supports adoption of Ordinance 2020-05 as a necessary step toward addressing serious questions about present and future water availability in the lower reach of the Methow River. We encourage our members to comment in support of Ordinance 2020-5.
