The Methow Watershed Council (MWC) is hosting an informational community meeting regarding recent changes Washington Department of Ecology has made in their policy regarding restricted areas of closed basins.
The MWC will host Ecology representative Trevor Hutton, Water Resources Program, Central Regional Office Section Manager and Okanogan County Commissioner Andy Hover to provide more information about what effect the changes will have for water use in restricted areas.
The purpose of the meeting on January 17 is to solicit questions, concerns and other input from community members. No RSVP is required.
