Save the Date: Creating a “Smoke Ready Community”

Join representatives from the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, EPA, Washington State Dept of Health, and Washington Dept of Ecology for this interactive on-line meeting to gain information on how to effectively engage our community on what to do when there is a smoke event and how to minimize exposure.

All interested partners are welcome: decision and policymakers, government representatives, business owners, and citizens.

The effects of wildfire smoke on human health and the impact it has on the communities within the Colville Reservation and the Okanogan River Airshed will be discussed. You will have an opportunity to provide input into upcoming plans.

This not an MVCC event but Clean Air Methow and MVCC are proud to support the work of our valuable partners.
