Bike, ride, carpool or walk down to the Twisp Grange for a rousing morning of engaged climate activism on Saturday, October 13th at 12pm! We will dive into the policies of Initiative 1631, the Protect Washington Act, with local healthcare, business and agriculture professionals. MVCC will provide supervised childcare for this event and children will be able to participate in making prayer flags during the event.
As an added bonus everyone who utilizes alternative forms of transportation (biking, walking, public transit, running or carpooling etc) will be entered into a raffle to win prizes from Methow Trails, Winthrop Mountain Sports, Blue Star Coffee, KTRT 97.5! It is not required to utilize alternative transportation for this event but we highly encourage folks to do so.
