Protect Your Backyard – Become an MVCC Member Today
The Methow Valley Citizens Council has been advocating for the Methow Valley’s natural environment and wildlife since 1976. With the support of our members, together we’ve successfully prevented the development of a corporate ski resort outside of the Mazama, helped protect over 340,079 acres of land from industrial-scale mining forever, and advocated for land and water use policies that protect our fragile local ecosystems.
With the impacts of climate change, wildfires, and growth posing a new threat to the health and vitality of the Methow’s rural character and natural landscapes, we are calling on more citizens to step up and support MVCC’s commitment to environmental advocacy and conservation.
