| How do you travel around the Methow? Whether you drive, bike, walk, ride TranGo, or carpool we’d like to hear from you! We’re conducting a community transportation survey to better understand how residents get around in and outside the Methow Valley. Your input will directly inform potential solutions like expanded carpooling programs, public transit improvements, and other ideas to reduce emissions and increase mobility in our region. The survey only takes five minutes to complete, is anonymous and open to all residents of the Methow Valley. |
| When the Methow Valley Climate Action Plan was released in 2021, the associated emissions study found that 92% of carbon emissions in the Methow were from transportation. What are ways we can reduce the sizeable impact of the transportation sector here? Reducing the number of driving trips through carpooling programs has been proposed as one solution. However, first, we need know what residents’ transportation habits are.
