Throughout the month of August and September we will be helping you and a group of your friends and neighbors advocate for the Methow by writing comments for the Okanogan County Comprehensive Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

If that sounds intimidating to you, fret not – MVCC will be present to break down the Comp Plan and commenting process as well as answer any questions you may have. This is a great way to help ensure that the Methow Valley’s natural environment and rural character are protected for generations to come.

The first letter writing party will take place at the Methow Valley Citizens Council office in Twisp on Tuesday, August 13th at 6pm. We will provide light refreshments and snacks. Its a great way to learn more about what’s being planned in our valley!
